Twitter’s 237 Most Influential Users Who Will Follow You Back

Twitter is closing a round of funding that will value the company known for its 140-character, stream-of-consciousness blogs at $1 billion, technology news site TechCrunch reported on Wednesday 16th Sep.

Twitter and other social networking sites have been hard-pressed to show that they are viable businesses and that they have what it takes to eventually make a successful public offering or private sale.

On the users side, the 4,000,000 followers mark will be achieved in a few months by some accounts.  With such authority within the Twitter community, many new or inactive Twitter users won’t believe that many top accounts  will follow them back.

Actually, many highly influential users with hundreds of thousands (even millions)  of followers will follow everyone back.  Most of them are using automated tools to follow anyone who follows them. What’s really great with these people is that they will very likely follow you back, even if you’re new to Twitter.

How to Use this List

Most of Twitter users would love accumulating active followers and the people on this list will greatly help you becoming more influential.  Most on the 237 are active and interact with their followers daily. They tweet to their followers when they discover something interesting on the web and many of them have high-quality tweets.

This list will help newbies and experienced users grow their followers. Unfortunately, I did the list backwards. Anyone willing to grow his Twitter account must start from the last accounts up to the top, following all 236 users. The benefits of following all of them is two-fold:

What’s great with these users is that they have demonstrated a social involvement in Twitter by following-back those who follow them, which will very likely bring you many additional followers.

The side-benefit of following these users is that once it’s done , your username will be at the top of their followers list. Many people increase their Twitter followers by adding the followers of highly influential users like these, so being at the top increases your exposure and increases the odds that other users follow you.

Our blog is againest “Twitter Follower Spam” or no matter what you would like to call it , which is adding tons of followers, unfollowing them later, and adding more in a vicious cycle of growth, but hey, here we just suggested you to follow the most interesting users because it works, and many people do it. This is just a resource to help users with “Good Karma” at every level reach the right followers for their tweets.
